I have worked in the NHS for nearly 20 years.
Starting my career as a cadet nurse upon leaving school. Qualifying as a staff nurse, I worked on an Acute cardiac care unit for over 10 years, my last 3 years of which I was proud to be a sister. Returning to university to become an advanced nurse practitioner, completing a masters with a distinction.
I now work as a qualified advanced nurse practitioner on an acute medical unit.

Wrinkle & line treatment
As we age, wrinkles develop and our skin becomes less elastic, coupled with skin damage.
Anti-wrinkle treatments are used to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and lines. Typically, providing a naturally more radiant younger look, by reducing the facial wrinkles.
How does it work?
A substance is used which blocks the signals from the nerves to the facial muscles, this ‘relaxes’ them so that they can no longer contract. This helps the wrinkles to relax and soften.
Where can we treat?
The treatment can be used in a number of facial areas:
*Forehead lines
*Frown lines between the eyebrows
*Crows feet
More advanced treatments we provide include:
*Sweat reduction (under arms)
*’Gummy smile’
*Jawline slimming (Massater muscle)
*Peri-oral lines (Smokers lines)
*Downturned corners of the mouth
*Pebbled chin
How many treatments will I need?
A single treatment will last between 3- 4 months. On-going treatments are recommended to maintain the results.
How soon will I see results?
Results can be visible immediately after the treatment, but continued to develop over the next two weeks.
Aftercare
There is no downtime to this treatment for any strenuous activity should be avoided for at least 24 hours. Gyms, saunas, and steam rooms should be avoided for the initial 48 hours after treatment.
Dermal Fillers FAQs
What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are ‘gel-like’ substances that are effective in rejuvenating the face by plumping the skin sculpting contours, smoothing static lines and creating a healthier tone and texture to the skin.
Dermal fillers treatment can provide a non-surgical face-lifting effect to improve/enhance the facial shape.
The hyaluronic acid dermal fillers helps the skin to retain moisture and restore the lost volume.
How do dermal fillers work?
Most dermal fillers are based on hyaluronic acid, which is a sugar molecule that naturally exists in your body, which is responsible for hydrated looking skin. As we age, our hyaluronic acid levels deplete over time.
Replacing it by injecting it into the skin revitalises, and adds volume to the skin, instantly diminishing the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and giving a natural softer look.
Where can we treat?
Dermal fillers can be provided to the following:
* Naso-labial lines
*Marionette lines
*Cheek fillers
*Lip fillers
How many treatments will I need?
The results are instant, you will notice the difference straight away. Optimum results can take up to 2 weeks. After about six months, your body naturally breaks down the hyaluronic acid fillers. Top-ups once or twice a year are recommended to maintain the look.
